Convert.FAST

Terms of Service

Plain-language terms for using Convert.FAST. No surprises.

Last updated: December 2025

The Service

Convert.FAST is a file conversion service operated by Tools Fast Group (ABN 95 273 980 219), an Australian business. We convert files between formats—images, documents, audio, and video—on servers we operate in the European Union.

By using Convert.FAST, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Accounts

You can use Convert.FAST without an account (as a guest) with daily limits. Creating a free account removes some limits and lets you track usage across sessions.

If you create an account:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your credentials secure
  • You're responsible for activity under your account
  • One account per person (no sharing accounts for commercial use)

Acceptable Use

You may use Convert.FAST for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Upload illegal content (child exploitation material, terrorism content, etc.)
  • Use the service for fraud, phishing, or malware distribution
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse the service
  • Reverse engineer or attack our infrastructure
  • Resell the service without permission

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without notice.

Your Files

You retain ownership of files you upload. By uploading, you grant us a temporary license to process and store files for the purpose of conversion—nothing more.

We do not:

  • Claim ownership of your content
  • Use your files for AI training
  • Share your files with third parties
  • Retain files longer than necessary (auto-deleted after 1 hour)

Credits & Billing

Convert.FAST uses a credit system. Free accounts receive daily credits. Paid plans provide more credits and higher limits.

  • Credits are consumed when conversions complete successfully
  • Failed conversions don't consume credits
  • Unused monthly credits roll over for paid plans (up to 1× your plan); free tier credits reset daily
  • Refunds available within 14 days of first payment if under 2,000 credits used—see our refund policy
  • Cancel anytime and keep access until your billing period ends—see our cancellation policy

Maintenance Windows

We use zero-downtime deployments for routine updates—most releases happen without any service interruption.

For larger infrastructure changes that require downtime, we schedule maintenance windows on weekends only. We'll display a banner notification at least 2 hours before any scheduled maintenance.

Service Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

We are not liable for:

  • Data loss due to service interruptions
  • Conversion errors or quality issues
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Our maximum liability is limited to fees you've paid us in the past 12 months.

Termination

You can cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

On cancellation:

  • Keep full access until your billing period ends
  • After expiry, your account downgrades to the Free tier
  • Remaining monthly credits are forfeited on downgrade

On account deletion:

  • Pending files are deleted immediately
  • Job metadata is retained for billing records

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Significant changes will be announced via email to registered users at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in Australian courts.
